This train is bound for Glory

Don't have much time for the update today, but it's been a pretty decent week.  Work is still awful and a life sucking burden on me, but until my situation changes it's just what Im dealing with on a daily basis.  I don't want anyone thinking that I don't like to work or enjoy my job, quite the opposite is the reality.  I love a job well done and knowing that I put my nose to the grindstone and pushed hard and found success, however the way my job structure has changed this year I've faced some high and unreasonable goals and haven't been given any of the tools that I developed in years past in order to meet those goals.  It's like telling an all pro quarter back who took his team to the super bowl last year that we expect the same results, but we're only going to let you use one leg to stand on and you have to throw with your opposite arm.  Anyway enough of that, just know that I'm trying to improve my situation and looking to make a major career change.
So this is going to be a great weekend, Middle Georgia Festival at Dausett starts tonight and goes through sunday.  Rumor has it Sweetwater has donated some kegs for the weekend and I can't wait to do a bunch of riding, some drinking and engage in some generall all around amount of dipshitery.
I caught a bunch of flack from my last post from my friends at www.BODbikegroup.com and apparently my attitude has been a bit much and I need to turn the volume down on it.  In addition it would seem that I need to have my ass handed to me and get laid more often, well I can definitely agree about one of those things :)  It's a tough thing trying to stay humble when you know that the amount of ass you're going to kick in the next year is going to be that equal to what it would take to rebuild the Great Wall of China twice over, but I try to do a good job of it.  Theodore Roosevelt said 'Far better is it to dare mighty things, to win glorius triumphs, even though checkered by failure... than to rank with those poor spirits who neither enjoy nor suffer much, because they live in a gray twilight that knows not victory nor defeat.  I dig this line, to me it says that it is far greater to go out and kick ass, knowing that your ass is going to get kicked a few times in the process, than it is to sit on the sidelines and long for a taste of glory.  The train bound for glory boards here and the line start behind me.

2 - You wouldn't be you if you didn't have a little attitude every now and again, right! Keep it rolling, man. Sounds like you've got a good game plan... that's the first step!

Good talk... see you out there. (Comment this)
